SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of biological plants protection. Invention proposes a method for protection of vegetating plants of Solanaceae family against harmful insects. Method involves spraying plants with suspension comprising entomopathogenic nematodes with addition of an anti-desiccant agent. As a source of entomopathogenic nematodes the method involves using Steinernema caprocapsae, and the preparation prepared by successive extraction of micromycetes biomass Mortierella globulifera is used as an anti-desiccant agent. Proposed method provides enhancing the effectiveness control against harmful insects in vegetating plants of Solanaceae family. Invention is designated for using in agriculture.
