FIELD: digital conversion of angle for using in the digital guidance systems and ensuring the precise control during all time of system operation.
SUBSTANCE: the proposed digital converter of angle (DCA) maintains the initial accuracy of angle-to-code conversion by means of automatic compensation of components of errors of the kind of sin4α, sin8α and errors of the higher order, which may appear during DCA operation. The aim is achieved without DCA dismantling from a control object when using in the DCA the ordinary (non special) two-phase angle-data transmitter. The technical result is achieved owing to: 1) efficient determination of the current error of angle-to-code conversion in the mode of functional control, 2) formation of the corresponding array of correction codes, 3) holding of the array in a reprogrammable storage device and 4) using this device for shaping an analog correcting signal in the operation mode of functioning. The specified array is formed with analog-to-digital converter, included in DCA; correcting signal is shaped with digital-to-analog converter, also included into DCA.
EFFECT: sustaining the initial accuracy of angle-to-code conversion in digital guidance systems.
