FIELD: hydraulic engineering, particularly structures for passing brood fishes through pier structures to spawning and meadow areas.
SUBSTANCE: fish pass has fish passing channel connecting upper and lower pools of hydrosystem, roughness providing members installed on fish-passing channel bottom in transversal rows. The members are formed as rods joined in staggered order. Fish resting zones are created between the rods. Fish pass has additional increased roughness providing members connected to load-bearing frame installed above water level. The additional members are installed in surface horizons of water course. The members located on bottom and additional members are intermittently arranged along the full length of fish passing channel and alternate one with another. Fish resting zones are created between similarly installed members, fish entrance orifices are defined by free rod ends of members of both types.
EFFECT: improved hydraulic conditions in fish-passing channel, possibility to operate fish passing regimes, improved ability of fish resting and movement along fish passing channel.
