FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in aircraft at flights. Compression of air in combustion chamber of compressorless air-jet engine is done by velocity head at flight. According to invention, insert with streamlined front part is placed in engine housing made in form of tube. Said front part forms ring channel to pass air between walls of housing and insert. Air from ring channel is directed concentrically in radial directions to center of combustion chamber which is arranged between bottom of insert and rear semispherical surface of engine housing, in center of which hole is made communicating with nozzle. Compression of air in combustion chamber is increased by colliding and aerodynamic braking of counter flows of air getting from ring channel into combustion chamber. Fuel is fed into central part of combustion chamber from nozzle by atomizing. Compression of air by braking of counter flows is equal to its compression at velocity equal to sum of velocities of said counter flows of air.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine at considerably lower flying velocities as compared with velocity of flight when using ramjet engines.
