APPARATUS FOR PUTTING OF TEAT CUPS ONTO UDDER TEATS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: cow milking equipment, in particular, teat cup putting on devices.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has holder and teat cups equipped with suckers and made in the form of funnel with corrugated shock-absorber. Inner surface of corrugated shock-absorber defines in conjunction with funnel hermetically sealed chamber, to which is connected high-frequency pulsator. Pivot joint is positioned in holder and fixed on outer surface of teat cup casing for displacement thereon. Pivot joint is made spherical. Teat cup is equipped with spring fixed in upper part of teat cup casing under sucker and abutting against flat surface of spherical pivot joint.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation owing to indispensable getting of udder teat into teat cup opening and reduced injury to animal during putting on of teat cup.
