FIELD: tire production industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of tire production industry, in particular, to a method and a device of structurization and widening of a workpiece of a pneumatic tire protective supports and may be used to ensure a capability for a transportation vehicle to go on moving after a pneumatic tire pin-hole. The method provides for production of at least one structurized workpiece intended for shaping in the structurized and widened state of the whole or a part of the tire protective support made out of elastomer possessing a cellular structure with the closed cells. The protective support is intended for installation on a mounting wheel tread inside a case of a tire. The method provides for a stage of the widening consisting in the fact, that the intended support or each of such supports put under an excess pressure into the bath of a liquid medium located in the internal cavity of the chamber. The temperature of a bath has the maximal value, which is within the range of 110°C up to 210°C. The absolute pressure in a bath has a value of at least equal or exceeding 5 bar. Then change in steps or continuously an absolute pressure in the bath up to final value of widening in essence equal to 1 bar for realization of widening of a workpiece, or each of workpieces, so that the increase of volume of these workpieces wills not be limited by the chamber. The invention includes the device for realization of the method, that has sections of workpieces feeding mean with bays of injection of workpieces, vulcanization, extraction and alternating transfer of the current fluid medium. The invention provides for a design of the protective support having an intermediate layer with a density less than the density of the core the section. The invention allows to develop a protective support, which will not be collapsed under action of the internal heat, and allows to minimize the surface oxidation in the body of the vulcanized pneumatic tire.
EFFECT: the invention allows to develop a protective support, which will not collapse under action of the internal heat; to minimize the surface oxidation in the body of the vulcanized pneumatic tire.
