FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: two samples of tested material are used for the test. One sample is subject to extraction by solvent and the other one is first subject to heat and then to extraction at the same conditions. Then both samples are subject to spectral and photometric measurement and transmission factors relation is found at the area of their maximal values. Transmission factor at the spectral range of 190-400 nm is calculated relatively transmission factor at the area of 400-1100 nm. Age of tested document is determined by comparing those values with analogical parameters of documents which age is known and which documents are presented in form of graphs or spreadsheets.
EFFECT: improved precision.
