FIELD: lubricants.

SUBSTANCE: lubricating oil for use in assemblies operated at high temperatures, in particular for oiling steam engine cylinders, foundry molds, as quench oil in forge shops, for oiling chains and gear systems operated in surfaces and blast furnace production, contains 0.3-1.5% (preferably 1%) ethylene/propylene copolymer with molecular weight 150000-300000, 0.2-0.5% additive "Agidol-1A", 0.2-0.5% additive K-51, and balancing amount of high-viscosity residual oil. Product may further contain 0.1-0.5% additive "PAF-4" and/or up to 0.2% graphite powder.

EFFECT: enhanced adhesion, heat resistance, antiwear and antiscale properties at temperatures above 300ºC.
