FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for packing rectangular items in elastic film in food and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: device has mechanism to supply items, for instance tissue packs, roll holders, driving rolls, seam welding means and cutting tool. Seam welding means is made as two U-shaped electrodes vertically installed in opposition to each other so that the electrodes may be linearly displaced one to another and one from another in welding area. The U-shaped electrodes are kinematically connected with cutting tool and formed so that area of horizontal welded seam part is two times greater than area of two vertical parts thereof.
EFFECT: increased output and simplified structure.
