GLUING PASTE "PLASTIZOL" Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2263129 C1

FIELD: polymers, glues, building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of plasticized compositions based on emulsion and suspension polyvinyl chloride - plastisol that can be used in manufacturing linoleum for gluing median layer on a underwarp. Gluing paste comprising emulsion and suspension polyvinyl chlorides, ester plastizing agent dioctyl phthalate or EDOS - a mixture of dioxane alcohols and their high-boiling esters, chloroplast-300 and chloroparaffin-470, chalk, calcium stearate, neonol or accessory substance - OP-7 involves additionally metal-containing lubricant prepared interaction of alpha-branched saturated monocarboxylic acids of (C10-C28)-fraction with polyhydric alcohol at 180-220°C taken in the mole ratio = 1:(1-2) in the presence of bivalent metal oxides CaO, PbO, ZnO, MgO or their bicomponent mixtures taken in the ratio 1;1 and in the amount 0.5-2.0 wt.-% of the total reaction mass. As a polyhydric alcohol method involves using ethylene glycol, glycerol, polyglycerols - a vat residue after distillation of glycerol of the general formula: CH2OHCHOHCH2O-(CH2CHOHCH2O)nH wherein n = 1-3. Using the proposed polymeric gluing composition allows stabilizing viscosity of plastisol gluing paste, to expand assortment of polymeric gluing compositions used in manufacturing linoleum and to solve technological difficulties in preparing, processing and transport of plastisol.

EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of gluing paste.
