FIELD: optical instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: telephoto lens can be used as with camera tubes and with CCD receivers for receiving visual information from external objects. Telephoto lens has first positive and second negative groups of lenses. First group of lenses has biconvex and negative lenses, the second group has negative meniscus turned with its concavity to image. Negative lens of first group is made in form of meniscus turned with its concavity to object and is glued with biconvex lens. Negative meniscus is installed additionally behind those two lenses. The meniscus is turned with its concavity to object. Positive component is installed additionally behind negative meniscus of second group. The positive component has two biconcave and biconvex lenses glued together. Negative meniscus turned with its concavity to object is installed behind negative meniscus from the second group.
EFFECT: higher quality of telephoto lens; bigger extension of entrance pupil; widened area of application.
