FIELD: electrical and radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for protection of electric motor and driven equipment against overcurrent and overtemperature, unwanted load shedding, and inadmissible ground fault of motor winding has overcurrent protection channel, overtemperature protection channel, driven-equipment emergency load shedding protection channel, and channel for motor protection against its starting at ground fault of its winding insulation. These channels are interconnected in parallel and connected through OR gate to final relay whose output is connected to control circuit contacts of magnetic starter whose power contacts are designed to connect motor phase leads to power line.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of motor and driven mechanism protection.
