FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: straight-flow valve comprises flat seats and flexible plates that abuts against the seats. The stiffening ribs of the seat do not reach the slot by 2-2.5 mm, thus defining the groove. The back side of the groove is beveled at an angle of 55-60° to the plane of the seat. The valve members define a contraction up to the sealing edge.
EFFECT: reduced hydraulic loss.
