FIELD: method and apparatus for making insulation tube with pipe arranged in it for transferring liquid medium.
SUBSTANCE: method is realized by means of successive stages of continuous manufacturing process. Casing of synthetic insulation material such as foamed plastics is made by extrusion. Lengthwise slit is formed in casing and it is placed around tube. Then casing is closed in zone of lengthwise slit and sealing outer layer in the form of hose is placed on it. Hose having ribs arranged on it along circle is made by means of two or more rib -forming members being shaping belts moving along circle together with hose and arranged mutually opposite. In other variant of invention before placing casing around tube, outer layer is formed on it. Preferably said outer layer has radial parting closed by fusion of its edges together. Apparatus for performing the method is also offered in description of invention.
EFFECT: elimination of damage of casing for keeping its insulation properties, lowered labor consumption for making tube.
