FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed railway tank car has barrel 2 mounted on frame of running gear 1 and secured on frame center sill in axial direction and on bolsters by means of box supports 3 secured on barrel. Unit for locking in axial direction is made in form of ring rod with three-dimensional hinge joints at ends. One of hinge joints is secured on barrel, and the other, on frame center sill. Axles are installed in holes of end face sheets of box support. Ends of each axle are made with eccentricity relative to middle part. Box supports are connected with support brackets by means of axle slide-fitted in end bushings and adapter rings.
EFFECT: elimination of thermal stresses caused by noncompensated temperature deformations when filling tank car with heated residual fuel oil.
