FIELD: building, particularly dome-shaped roofs for buildings and building structures.

SUBSTANCE: dome-shaped roof is supported by roof slabs and comprises spherical thin-walled triangular members provided with ribs. The triangular members are terminated in eaves gutters. Support ring is made of composite reinforced concrete wall panels provided with ribs along perimeter thereof and with pre-stressed reinforcement located in longitudinal ribs. Triangular member ribs and wall panel ribs are connected by welding embedded members thereof one to another and through additionally pre-stressed rods welded to embedded members of triangular member ribs at the first ends. The pre-stressed rods pass into orifices formed in medium parts of upper longitudinal ribs of wall panels and have threads and nuts on opposite ends.

EFFECT: reduced bending moments in support ring area.
