FIELD: building, particularly load-bearing structures for building and building structure coating.
SUBSTANCE: composite truss comprises compressed upper timber belt and timber post with lower metal rounded end. Diagonal truss members and lower belt thereof are formed of two timber bars so that a space is created in-between. Two prestressed reinforcing rods are arranged in the space so that the reinforcing rods enclose lower metal rounded end of the timber post. Each rod is secured to upper truss belt by the first end thereof with the use of upset head. Another rod ends are provided with threaded short member and are secured to lower belt ends.
EFFECT: increased load-bearing ability and rigidity.
