FIELD: mining industry, particularly for thermal treatment of highly-viscosity oil formation, for hydraulic connection recovery between formation and well, for oil output stimulation, to resume operation of unprofitable oil, gas and water wells.
SUBSTANCE: method involves filling upper part of electrode heater with pressurized inert gas; arranging body in well bottom zone and heating thereof up to supercritical temperature. Necessary inert gas pressure is determined from analytic formula. Due to pressurized gas usage pressure sufficient to prevent water boiling is maintained inside the body.
EFFECT: increased specific power of well electric heaters due to possibility of temperature increase.
