FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: linkage meter comprises housing, dial gage, pointer mounted on the shaft, and drive of the pointer that has spring-loaded measuring plunger and gearing multiplicator. The meter is provided with the optical increment generator that has disk whose periphery is provided with the concentric way with alternative nontransparent and transparent unit areas, at least one photodetector, circuit for generating pulses, unit for discrimination of pulses by the direction of rotation of the disk, and matching unit for transmitting data to the computer. The disk of the optical increment generator is rigidly mounted on the shaft of the indicating pointer.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
