FIELD: coal mining industry, particularly for storage sump cleaning.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mounting conveying line made as auger flight on storage sump ground before flooding thereof; cleaning excavation of dewatered rock mass without auger flight remounting with the use of different loading devices, namely scraper winches and loading machines. The conveying line is composed of separate sections individually secured to excavation ground. The sections are detached one from another before storage sump flooding and then the sections are serially connected as storage sump is gradually cleaned.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced time of storage sump cleaning.
