FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used both for grinding of stalked fodder and mixing thereof.

SUBSTANCE: grinder has frame with closed chain transmission contours arranged on frame in parallel with one another. Each of said contours accommodates cutting members formed as sharpened plates. Chain transmission contours are disposed on driving and driven sprockets. Adjacent sprockets with chains are moving in opposite directions. Basic stalked fodder mass accumulator consisting of two longitudinal walls is disposed above upper link of chains. Bottom is disposed under upper runs of chains. Stalked feeds are supplied into accumulator and ground by means of sharpened plates of chains movable in opposite directions. Movement of cutting members in opposite directions allows stalked fodder not only to be ground but also mixed.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities.
