FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, continuous conditioning processing under pressure of food or flavor material.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing raw material 12 through inlet 4 into conditioning chamber 2 within which above-atmospheric pressure is set; feeding conditioning means therein and discharging conditioned material through outlet 8, with raw material 12 being continuously moved from inlet 4 to outlet 8 within upwardly inclined conditioning chamber 2 by means of mixing conveyor, in particular screw-type conveyor 3. Apparatus for conditioning under pressure of food or flavor material, in particular, tobacco raw material, preferably tobacco leaf veins has conditioning chamber 2 within which above-atmospheric pressure is set, wherein raw material 12 is introduced through inlet 4, and feeding nozzles 1 for processing raw material 12 by conditioning means. Conditioning chamber 2 is inclined upward and comprises mixing conveyor, in particular, screw-type conveyor 3 for continuously moving raw material 12 from inlet to outlet.
EFFECT: provision for single-staged, homogeneous and deep preparing of raw material so that it is suitable for further continuous processing.
