METHOD FOR PRODUCING BENT SECTIONS OF EAVE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B21D5/06 

FIELD: plastic working of metals.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of basing section on mean portion; molding section at shaping its lower supporting part and upper box like part. Molding of section is started from shaping curvilinear portion for joining upper box like part and lower supporting part with straight portions having dimension in development equal to those of upper box like and of lower supporting parts. During other manufacturing steps lower supporting part is shaped by means of roll and semi-circular guides are shaped by means of additional rollers. Then upper box like part of section is at first shaped by means of roll and then by means of lateral rollers. At bending process contour of section is not finally formed and angle 5 - 10° is remained due to insufficient bending. Then with use of last roll pair section is finally formed and lower supporting part is sized due to applying normal efforts to curvilinear zone of semi-circular guides and to curvilinear zone of joined portions.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of shaped members of section suitable for more comfort usage by means of lowered-cost tool in equipment with less energy consumption.
