TEMPERATURE DEVICE TO CONTROL SLIPPING OF BELT ON CONVEYOR DRIVE DRUM Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B65G43/04 

FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed temperature control drive has temperature-sensitive element with fusible plug connected with actuating mechanism designed for switching off drive electric motor of conveyor drum and energizing device to indicate slipping of belt on drum. Temperature sensitive device has housing made in form of tubular cup with threaded covers turned on both ends, one of covers being provided with central hole. Fusible plug fitted inside cup provided with central hole with freely fitted-in rod pusher with disk head thrusting against end face of plug and having diameter equal to diameter of inner ring projection of cup against which opposite end face of fusible plug thrusts. Compressed spring with force interaction with threaded cover of cup is arranged inside cup. Spring engages with cover free from central hole, and head of rod pusher whose opposite end is fitted in central hole of cup threaded cover and is hinge connected with actuating lever of traction switch electrically coupled with control unit of conveyor drive motor starter and with control unit of device for signaling belt slipping on drive drum. Housing of temperature sensitive element is arranged in zone of location of fusible plug and is perforated.

EFFECT: simplified design of device, improved reliability of control of belt slipping on conveyor drive drum.
