FIELD: cooling equipment, particularly test rigs adapted to determine heat-and-power characteristics of absorption-compression refrigeration units.

SUBSTANCE: test rig comprises absorption loop to be tested, compression loop and two-chamber vessel. The absorption loop includes absorption unit and the first testing and control equipment system. The compression loop comprises compression unit and the second testing and control equipment system. Suction pipe of compression unit is included in the first vessel chamber. Absorption unit coil is in-circuit with the second vessel chamber. The vessel chambers are connected in series to water cooling system. Ammonia-water mixture enters from compressor cooling head through shutoff vessel into absorption loop generator.

EFFECT: increased reliability of absorption-compression refrigeration unit performance investigation.
