FIELD: technology for determining authenticity of liquid and gaseous substances, possible use in food and perfumery industry, and also during ecological control-related operations.
SUBSTANCE: method includes comparing characteristics of identified sample to characteristics of standard samples. As characteristics, response sets of chemical sensors array xi, i=T,n are used for identified and standard samples. Processing of aforementioned responses is performed using three different identification algorithms: statistical, neuro-network-based and self-organizing, match criterion is coincidence of not less than two positive results for all three algorithms.
EFFECT: high identification reliability and shorter time required for analysis operation.
