FIELD: agricultural engineering, may be used in separating devices of combines.
SUBSTANCE: straw-walker has two axially aligned perforated drums. First drum is immovably fixed immediately behind threshing unit and is equipped with outside cylindrical eccentrically positioned toothed straw mass turner. Turner teeth are freely introduced into drum slots at working width of 200-240 deg to provide for turning of straw mass. Second perforated drum has blades set on its internal surface in helical lines of multithread screw. Tilt board is positioned at an angle to and rearward of second drum, in lower part thereof. Perforations of both drums are of equal diameters.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating impact loads and improved separation of straw from grain.
