FIELD: electromechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor designed for use in large electrical machines, such as gas-cooled turboalternators, has slots accommodating winding separated from slot walls by means of L-shaped boxes, as well as cooling ducts provided under slots. Bottom part of insulating box resting on winding-holding slot bottom has thickened wall one of whose sides joined to bottom conductor of rotor winding is tilted to provide for wedge-shaped clearance in joint.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and service life of electrical machine.
