FIELD: chemical industry; ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy; electronic industry; methods and devices for production of granulated carbon materials with a high loose density.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method and the device for production of granulated carbon materials of carbon-carbon of materials with the high bulk density, which may be used in ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, in chemical and electronic industries. The method includes a heating in the rotating horizontal reactor of a moving layer of the granulated hydrocarbon black with the help of the fuel complete combustion products, feeding under the layer of hydrocarbon black of the gaseous or vaporous hydrocarbons and their thermal decomposition with a deposition on the hydrocarbon black of pyrocarbon. The products of the complete combustion of the fuel having the temperature of 1100-1400°C are fed in the form of three streams - the main and two complementary. The main stream is fed in the form of the directed stream above the moving layer in the horizontal plane at an angle of 30-60° to the shaft of the reactor. The two complementary streams are fed above the main stream in the horizontal plane at an angle of 15-30° to the shaft of the reactor. The reactor includes the horizontally located lining from inside the tank with the covers supplied with the rotation drive, the branch-pipes for feeding of the granulated hydrocarbon black and for withdrawal of the carbon material and the reactionary gases, the tools for heating of hydrocarbon black and the installed in the bottom of the tank closed from one end pipe with the radial holes along the whole its length for feeding of the hydrocarbons. To its front end face in the horizontal plane at an angle of 30-60° to the shaft of the reactor there are the stationary mounted the generator of products of the fuel complete combustion, and above it at an angle of 15-30° to the shaft of the reactor - two burners for incineration of the fuel with the air. The invention ensures production of the carbon material with a wide range of properties, an increase of productivity and profitability of the process, reduced discharge into the atmosphere of the gaseous products of the reaction.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of the carbon material with a wide range of properties, increased productivity and profitability of the process, reduced discharge of the gaseous products of the reaction into the atmosphere.
