FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for electric tranquilization has unit for rhythmical influence to central nervous system by current pulses, power unit electrically connected with unit for rhythmical influence, pulse influence intensity control unit, current pulse preamplifier and power amplifier. Input of power amplifier is connected to output of pulse preamplifier. One of output of power amplifier is connected with preamplifier through unit for protecting patient against increase of average current higher than admissible one. The other output is electrically connected with average current value indicator. Apparatus also has anode disposed at areas of mammiform appendices of patient's head. Cathode is disposed at forehead of patient. Unit for combined protection of patient and apparatus against influence of discharge of capacitive component of patient's skin impedance is provided at points of electrodes application and against environmental influence to hardware members of apparatus inform of static electricity, high frequency currents and electric and magnetic fields. One input of unit is connected with output of power amplifier; the other one is connected with average current value indicator. One output of the unit is connected with anode and the other one - with cathode. Unit for electric tranquilization has at least two apparatuses having different current pulse repetition frequencies. Each apparatus has unit for combined protection of patient and apparatus.

EFFECT: better quality of protection of patient and apparatus; increased intensity of pulse influence.
