FIELD: ballistic propellants.
SUBSTANCE: ballistic solid propellant for a photo-dissociation laser contains nitrocellulose, nitroglycerin, octogen, industrial carbon, centralite and diphenylamine used as a stabilizer of chemical stability and process additives-liquid petroleum or industrial oil in a melt with 0.02-0.08 percent by mass of stearic acid mixed with sulforicinate E. The invention is aimed for production of a ballistic propellant with a high detonating velocity (8080-8250 m/s), improved gas dynamic characteristics of the shock wave and improved structure-mechanical characteristics. The offered composition of ballistic propellant has a high density (1.69-1.72 g/cu.cm). The propellant structure-mechanical characteristics provide for fastening of the charge in a horizontal position in the excitation unit of the photo-dissociation laser.
EFFECT: improved characteristics.
