FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle wheel drives.
SUBSTANCE: proposed final drive has gear pair whose one wheel has gear rim and hub connected by resilient members in form of packs of segment springs. Springs are made with ends bent outwards whose radius of curvature r0 is found from equation r0=R*k where R is radius of curvature of segment spring. K (0.2-0.25) is empirical coefficient depending on conditions of operation of vehicle and physical and mechanical characteristics of material.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities owing to reduction of dynamic and resonance loads, increased service life of final drive.
