FIELD: aids of docking and docking of space objects, applicable in preparation of booster rockets to launch at a launching complex.
SUBSTANCE: device has frame (1) with running gear (2), front (3) and rear (4) supports of nose cone (5) of expanded nose fairing (6). Fastened to rear support (4) are process stays (7), enveloping fairing (6) consisting of base (8) and peripheral (9) split rings. These rings are engageable with the outer surfaces of the end frames of nose (5) and tail (14) parts of fairing (6), they consist of the upper and lower semi-rings interconnected by opening mechanisms (19) and (20). Adjustable stop segments engageable with the end frames of the parts of fairing (6) are installed on the upper and lower semi-rings. The described device provides for undocking and subsequent (after installation of the space vehicle on the second stage (31) of the booster rocket) docking of nose (5) and tail (14) parts of fairing (6). The form of the transverse joint of these parts of the fairing is fixed with the id of the split rings and stop segments. The relative position of the end frames of the fairing parts before their mating is fixed by means of guide pins of ring (8) and centering jacks of ring (9).
EFFECT: reduced labor content, danger of mechanical damages and reduced time of mating of low-rigid structures of the booster rocket.
