FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: solid-propellant rocket engine comprises housing, charges of the first and second regimes mounted in series inside the housing and separated with the bottom, initiating units, and nozzle. The bottom is made of a flexible diaphragm. The flexible hose arranged in the charge of the second regime is secured to the central section of the flexible diaphragm by means of joint broken down by the command. The opposite end of the hose is secured from the side of the front bottom of the engine. The flow openings of the initiating unit of the charge of the second regime are connected with the space defined by the surface of combustion of the charge of the second regime and the outer surface of the hose.
EFFECT: reduced passive engine mass.
