FIELD: well drilling, particularly to transmit information from well bottom to day surface during well drilling.

SUBSTANCE: method involves modulating generating signal at day surface by linking land-based generator correspondingly to drilling string and point located at a distance from well head and at well bottom; receiving signal created by land-based generator by electric doublet located at well bottom; extracting clock rate of land-based generator and commutating electric doublet located at well bottom by coded information synchronously with it; measuring generation current at well head by oscillation extraction with the use of synchronous detecting; judging geophysical parameters of formation to be drilled on day surface by change in values of oscillations caused by electric doublet commutation and measured at well head. To improve signal receiving conditions frequency of land-based generator may be changed.

EFFECT: increased reliability of information transmission along with provision of bidirectional signal receiving and transmission.
