FIELD: aviation material.
SUBSTANCE: the aeroplane fuselage tail section is made in the form of a thin-walled cowling narrowing to the rear end, its wider circular section is connected to a bulkhead. Two openings and an inclined aerodynamic duct are made in the tail section of the cowling. The first opening is made in the upper tail section of the cowling and matched with the upper edge of the aerodynamic duct, whose lower edge is matched with the second opening made in the form of a cut of the cowling tail section. Reduction in the flight of air flow swirlings past the tail section is attained by suction of the boundary layer of the air flow from the outer surface of the fuselage back through the inclined aerodynamic duct.
EFFECT: reduced aerodynamic drag, reduced length and mass of the fuselage tail section.
