FIELD: metallurgical heating engineering; methods of the ingots heating in the furnace soaking-pit.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgical heating engineering, in particular, to the method of the ingots heating in the mixed gas-fired soaking-pit furnaces at the ingots heating before rolling at the metallurgical plants. The technical result of the invention is the improved quality of the heating and reduction of the fuel specific consumptions. The method of heating of the ingots in the soaking-pit furnace gas flame formed at the constant flow and the heating value of the mixed gas provides, that the heating by the flame flow is exercised multi-cyclically with usage of two angles of the flame flow divergence. At that in the first half of each cycle the angle of the flame flow divergence corresponds to 19-21°, and in the second half of each cycle the angle of the flame flow divergence corresponds to 44-46°. The time duration of each heating cycle by the flame flow makes from 0.6 up to 2.0 minutes, and a time duration of each angle divergence of the flame flow makes from 0.3 up to 1.0 minutes.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improved quality of the heating and reduction of the fuel specific consumptions.
