FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, dinner service which may be used for manufacture of forks.

SUBSTANCE: fork of dinner service has handle, working part and teeth. Side edge of outer tooth is sharpened so as to form cutting surface. Cutting surface is rounded, radius of rounded portion is defined from dependence: R=0.1-0.4D, where D is thickness of tooth.

EFFECT: reduced force of cutting food by sharpened side edge of outer tooth in normal direction with respect to side edge of outer tooth without substantial longitudinal movement of fork.
