FIELD: groundings and earth electrodes.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used in poor conducting frozen grounds and permafrost (excluding rocks) with specific resistance of 500 Ohm·m. according to the method, reduction in seasonal resistance of ground installation of electric plant being put into permafrost and being connected with coaxial heater is achieved at the contact of thin seasonal-standard electro-conducting surface layer of ground with melt electro-conducting medium around coaxial heater heated by current. As an earth electrode the coaxial heater is offered which has to be two cylindrical conductors connected in series in such a way that one isolated conductor is disposed inside the other one along its whole length to form cylindrical bifilar.
EFFECT: reduced resistance of grounding installation.
