FIELD: electromechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed single-armature converter available in two design alternates with respect to energy conversion makes use of independent compensating system incorporating series-connected commutating windings and compensating winding disposed on main poles, ac transducer and phase meter, both connected in one of phases, as well as dc transducer, microcontroller with signals arriving at its inputs from current transducers and phase meter, and dc power unit for windings built around pulse-width converter with control signal supplied to its input from microcontroller to ensure desired level of compensation for armature resultant mmf in commutating region.
EFFECT: ability of compensating for armature resultant mmf in commutating region to desired level and overcompensation by any design alternate of machine.
