FIELD: methods, equipment or machines for use in upholstering, upholstery, particularly for placing upholstery springs in pockets and fitting springs in upholstery for furniture and motor-car industry.
SUBSTANCE: supply unit is made as reciprocating mechanism comprising lever and slide pivotally connected with drive unit. The slide has slot for lever arm receiving having bottom arranged from the first side of elongated material. Lever is pinned to the slide and is connected with drive shaft by arm. Rear surface thereof is transversal to material supply direction. Supply unit is also provided with wedge-like clamp having working rib installed at lever arm end near surface facing slide groove bottom from another material side so that the working rib may cooperate with material. Stop is installed on slide from rear lever surface so that stop position may be adjusted in material supply direction. Stop plane facing rear lever surface extends obliquely to material supply direction.
EFFECT: increased stability of elongated material supply unit operation.
