FIELD: polymer production.

SUBSTANCE: polysiloxane-polycarbonate block copolymers having general formula: , wherein R represents propyl; R1 methyl, ethyl, or phenyl; R2 hydride, methyl, vinyl, methyldimethoxysilylethylene, methylmethacryloxy, or propylmethacryloxy; X methylene, propyl, hexafluoropropyl, methylphenylpropyl, sulfo, or azoxy; Y chloro, bromo, or nitro; Z eugenol, siloxyorgano-substituted eugenol; a=1-600. b=1-5, d=3-20, 0<m<1, and p=1-30, are prepared via interaction of mixture of organosilicon and organic bisphenols with chloro-derivative of carbonic acid in presence of tertiary amine and/or quaternary ammonium salt as catalyst in stirred alkaline medium constituted by chlorinated hydrocarbon and sodium alkali, said chloro-derivative of carbonic acid being α,ω-chloroformiate-oligocarbonate of diphenylolpropane (molecular weight 900-5200) and molar ratio of said bis-chloroformiate to mixture of bis-phenols being (1.01-1.1):1. Interaction is continued for 15 to 45 min at ambient temperature with or without polymer chain stopping agent.

EFFECT: achieved sufficiently high strength and elastic characteristics of polysiloxane-polycarbonates enabling employment thereof in manufacturing film membranes and other various-destination thin-layer products.
