FIELD: engineering of mono-impulse coherent radiolocation systems, operating on moveable carriers, meant for detecting signals from above-water targets and dispensing coordinates thereof to controlling system, under conditions of natural, organized active and passive interference.
SUBSTANCE: at first stage method includes determining width of spectrum with most powerful spectral component on basis of given level from number of components, exceeding first detection threshold(first criterion), received value of spectrum width is compared to second threshold value, in case of fulfillment of condition for exceeding of spectrum width of second threshold value(second false target criterion) - signal is removed from further analysis as false. At second stage for resolved signals, not dropped on basis of first or second criterion and positioned at same distance, dispersion of difference is calculated between estimates of angular position of frequency-resolved elements, produced by two methods: in accordance to Doppler frequency shift and mono-impulse method. If found dispersion exceeds third threshold(third criterion), signal, received at analyzed distance, is classified as interference signal and is also removed from analysis.
EFFECT: increased trustworthiness of classification between target and passive interference (excluding interference of corner reflector type) with view-finding angles and distances, when spectrum width if target signal is comparable to and even greater than width of dipole reflector cloud spectrum.
