FIELD: armature and sports fishing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed fishing rod has stick with nod, case and reel for fishing line, driven and driving gear wheels, lever, balancer and stick balance adjuster. Driving and driven gear wheels form gear train furnished additionally with spring with ratchet mechanism and winding key. Balancer is made for engagement with drive train through mechanism changing frequency and amplitude of vibrations of stick with nod made in form of bellcrank on one arm of which slider is installed connected with balancer. Other arm is made for engagement through connecting rod and crankshaft with driven gear wheel of train, load being installed on stick for displacement along stick. Balance adjuster is made in form of spring connecting balancer with control handle.

EFFECT: provision of stabilization of frequency and amplitude of vibrations of stick with nod, provision of self-contained operation.
