FIELD: foundry, possibly evacuation of molds and cores of any molding and core sands.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of inserting to flask metallic tubes closed by means of helical gauze; at filling mold with melt realizing local evacuation of molds and cores through said helical gauze preventing distortion and penetration of molding sand in gas suction system; connecting other end of tube with evacuation system; creating different evacuation degree in separate portion of mold, core or flask; at high difference of evacuation degree connecting tubes with several evacuation systems; at small difference of evacuation degree placing nozzles with different orifices in evacuation system. Local evacuation provides rapid and full filling of working cavity of molds for producing complex-shape and thin-wall castings.
EFFECT: improved quality of casting, lowered number of rejected castings, rational consumption of metal.
