DEVICE FOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN REMOVAL OF GAS LEAKS FROM GAS PIPELINES Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G09B9/00 

FIELD: engineering of training machines, possible use for preparing specialists in removal of gas leaks from gas pipelines in emergency rescue and fire services, in oil-gas, chemical and other industrial branches for training personnel of such departments, organizing looping courses of training tasks, having to do with handling of emergency situations.

SUBSTANCE: device includes model of gas pipelines with portion of pipe with locking pass valve, control station with mode switches, tank with compressed air, electo-pneumo-distributor, pressure indicator, pneumatic connecting pipes with connecting socket in form of connecting pipe, whistle, end switch, electric wire with socket, direct current power source, and also a band. One of connecting pipes is held on the pipe and is meant for quick connection of device to tank via one of aforementioned connecting pipes. Trainee must find leaking point on portion of pipe and remove the leak by applying band to aperture. If operation is performed correctly, whistling is stopped, pipe pressure is increased to reduced set pressure, and pressure signaler confirms that by sending a command to control panel.

EFFECT: possible modeling of real situation with signaling about completion of exercises, increased quality of professional training of trainees; possible autonomous training and testing under field conditions, without presence of compressed gas network.
