FIELD: hoisting and transport engineering, in particular, self-cleaning steeply inclined belt conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: conveyor consists of load-bearing web running around drive and tension blocks and made in the form of two longitudinally arranged overlapping belts lying with their lower part on bearing arcuate drive traverses and with their upper parts on drive cross-pieces with wheels at their ends, lateral endless pulling members made in the form of, for example, packets of cables secured with shoes, to which traverse ends, belt outer edges and cross-pieces are attached. Additional drives are disposed under load-bearing lower run. Hitching device for hitching additional drives to conveyor pulling members is made in the form of resilient levers, such as, for example, shock-absorbing levers rotatively mounted within chain closed on driving and tension sprockets. Ends of small-size lever arm abut against rear part of pulling member shoes, and rollers on ends of large-size lever arm abut against beam such as rail comprising roller surface having working path with leading and terminating rounded portions.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation, wider range of application in various fields, elimination of deleterious effect of admissible manufacture and assembly errors, temperature and operational deformations on performance of conveyor.
