FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to slewing circles of cranes and other load-lifting machines. Proposed slewing circle consists of fixed and movable upper and lower races interconnected by bolts, and solids of revolution placed in between. Lower movable race is connected with gasket made of high-strength material installed from lower side of race. Said gasket can be sectional, with butts located in non-loaded zones and can be secured by bolts or glue.
EFFECT: increased durability of slewing circle.
