FIELD: engineering of sensors for measuring acceleration of moving object, possible use in braking systems of various vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: acceleration indicator contains body, two plates, mounted in the body on one axis with possible angular displacement relatively to body and having shift of center of gravity relatively to axis, magnetic dampers of plate oscillations, switch in form of radiation emitter and photo-detector facing each other, limiters of angular movements of plates, one or more loads, mounted on at least one plate. Radiation source with photo-receiver are held on one of plates in such a way, that their position is coaxial, while plane of the second plate passes through the gap between them. Surface of the second plate has at least one aperture, providing lighting for photo-receiver by means of radiation emitter during rotation of plates relatively to each other. Electronic portion of indicator includes threshold device, measuring device and generator of time intervals, generator of rectangular pulses, key device, controlling enabling/disabling of signaling lamp of vehicle.

EFFECT: simplified construction, expanded technical capabilities, increased resistance to interference, increased reliability.
