FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, cereals threshing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing combined impact, sweeping and combing non-monotonous actions upon crop under threshing process; providing action of power during threshing process at two intensity levels at ratio of 1:2-1:4 between number of high-level and low-level actions and ratio of 1.5:1-2:1 between high-level and low-level actions. Threshing apparatus has drum with tooth-type working members and deck disposed under said working members. Streamlined planks are located on each working member or on part of said working members. Ratio between total length of streamlined planks and total length of all working members is 1:3-1:6.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in two-phase threshing of cereals by means of one-drum threshing apparatus, reduced consumption of power and decreased damage to grains.
